Eomly Send

Crowdfunding for Africa — raise from the diaspora and the world

Eomly Send fundraising is live and built for a clear job: campaigns for people and causes across African markets, funded by family, friends, and donors worldwide. Share one campaign link; donations are processed by licensed payment partners.

Why Africa-focused crowdfunding needs its own product

Global fundraisers often assume card rails, banking norms, and trust patterns that do not match how African families and diaspora networks actually raise money. Medical bills, school fees, emergencies, and community projects still move through WhatsApp groups, church networks, alumni chats, and family trees — but those channels need a proper campaign page and settlement flow.

Eomly Send is that layer: a public campaign people can trust and share, with donations from abroad and (where supported) local partner rails — without pretending remittance and airtime are already finished products.

What you can raise for

  • Medical and health expenses
  • Education and tuition
  • Emergency and family support
  • Community and charity projects
  • Small business or startup fundraising stories

How a campaign works

  1. Open send.eomly.com/fundraise.
  2. Create a campaign with a clear story, goal amount, and cover image.
  3. Share the public link across diaspora networks, community groups, and social channels.
  4. Donors give through licensed partners; amounts and fees are shown before they confirm.
  5. Track donations and settle through Eomly Send.

Fees — clear and upfront

Eomly takes a 5% platform fee on each donation (from the campaign / creator side by default). Donors also pay the payment partner’s processing fee. Exact amounts appear before confirmation — no hidden “platform shipping” style surprises on donations.

Remittance and airtime on Send are coming soon. Fundraising campaigns are live today. See Pricing for how Send fees sit next to Business / Marketplace fees.

Send vs Marketplace storefront

Eomly Send is for crowdfunding campaigns — raise donations toward a goal.

Eomly Business / Marketplace is for selling: storefronts, products, bookings, invoices, and dropshipping. If you need a shop, start with the free online store guide. Many people use both products for different jobs.

Tips for campaigns that get shared

  • Lead with a specific need and a realistic goal — not a vague “support us”
  • Use a clear cover image and short story donors can forward in one screenshot
  • Ask trusted people in the diaspora to share first; social proof unlocks wider circles
  • Update donors when milestones hit so the campaign stays alive in group chats
